Tides (2024–Present)
I began this series in the thick of a season that felt unending—one wave after another, no calm in sight. Tides was born not from peace, but from the longing for it. A quiet shift happened when I stopped waiting for it to be over, and started noticing the rhythm instead.
These paintings are my way of moving with what is—letting go of the urge to grasp the sweet moments too tightly, or to push the hard ones away. Some tides arrive gently, others crash and pull, but all are part of the same ocean. Through layered color, movement, and space, I return again and again to the truth that nothing stays.
There is power in the letting go. And in the rising, always, something new begins.
